I’m Nat, I am Tasmanian born and bred, the owner of the beautiful brand that is Wilderness Weddings, and also your go–to Celebrant. I live down south of Hobart along with my husband Marcus, two dogs, and five sheep.
I have always been drawn to couples looking for something different, unique, and a celebration that reflects their values and who they are as a couple.
I am creating sustainable, eco-friendly weddings, treading softly on this incredible place that I get to call home.
I am a kind-hearted, problem solver, and a big dreamer, and I love all things Tasmanian, including all the amazing food and wine we get to showcase through our in-house dining experiences with Wilderness Weddings. My commitment to you is to be there with you personally every step of the way to make sure you have the very best experience leading up to and on your big day.

Now, it might be a controversial statement, but I'm not a celebrant because I'm a sucker for love and marriage. Sure love is great! However, what I love most is helping create magical moments, to celebrate people's stories and to delve into what makes them tick as a couple. That's why I became a celebrant in the first place, because I knew ceremonies could be moments of true celebration in the most modern, genuine, and engaging way possible!
And since my first couple at the very beginning of 2018, just after marriage equality was finally made legal and the phrase "union between two people" came into being in ceremonies (woo!) and in the hundreds of ceremonies I've led since, I've been lucky enough to marry all couples in love, in the way that defines them best.

I photograph weddings, elopements, families, small business branding and Airbnbs. I am happiest when climbing a mountain, searching for waterfalls, and just hitting the trail with my dog, Smokey, a very smart and thankfully super chilled Border Collie. I have been documenting life with a camera for as long as I can remember (A lady never tells her age!).
When I am not behind the lens you’ll still find me in nature. I love plants, cooking, and we still have a date night in our kitchen when the children are safe and sleeping in their beds. I am a sucker for a good folk tune and love all things green. My greatest joy has been documenting a lifetime of memories told through photographs.
My style is documentary, I keep it natural with minimal posing and capture the day as it unfolds. I will give direction when needed so you don’t feel awkward in front of the camera and to ensure we make some beautiful art.
